Please join us this season in celebrating a West Chesterfield Wonderland! Snow or shine, there is plenty to keep you active with the many winter activities in the area. Head to neighboring Keene, New Hampshire and Brattleboro, Vermont for your pick of winter sport, shopping, and shows.
Once the snow falls, there’s no shortage of winter sports. In addition to the many ski slopes in Brattleboro, there are cross country skiing trails and an olympic size ski jump! Snowboarding , snowmobiling, even hiking and road biking are exhilarating winter sports. Perhaps take your special someone out on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride in Brattleboro or nearby Townshend. Not snowing yet? “Warm up” with some ice skating at Memorial Park. When Retreat Meadows freezes over, you’re welcome to go skating here too! Maybe try your hand at ice fishing and catch yourself some delicious bass, pike, or perch.
Leave the Christmas shopping to us! Grab yourself a cup of hot cocoa and browse the streets of Keene and Brattleboro to find the most unique gifts for your loved ones, and yourself! Stock up on high quality outerwear from Synergy, trendy fashions at Miranda’s on Main, fancy goods and stocking stuffers at Ruggles & Hunt, and festive candles at Kringle. If you’re an antique lover, look no further.
